Ash wood landing tread. Used for blending from stairway to landing. Landing treads provide a sleek overhang along stairway balconies and top step for a finished appearance. Generally straight-grained with a coarse uniform texture. Machines well and is good in nailing, screwing and gluing. Can be stained to a very good finish. Very good overall strength properties relative to its weights and has excellent shock resistance.
